Funding source: BMBF / VerbundprojektDas Verbundvorhaben hat das Ziel basierend auf Stahl, Nickel und Platin Netzen als Gas-Diffusions-Elektroden für die Elektrocarboxylierung von Acetonitril zu Cyanessigsäure zu realisieren. Die Elektroden sollen hierbei elektrochemisch stabil sein, eine stabile Phasentrennung erlauben und eine hohe Stromdichten ermöglichen. Um dieses Ziel zu erreichen, muss im Projekt die Herstellung der Netzstrukturen untersucht werden, der Einfluss der Druckdifferenz auf die Benetzung der Elektrode im stromlosen und geladenen Zustand sowie die Elektrocarboxylierung von Acetonitril generell verstanden werden. Weiterhin ist eine geeignete, weit verwendbare Messzelle für das neue Gas-Diffusions-Elektroden Konzept zu realisieren und die Elektrocarboxylierung mit den neuen Elektroden zu untersucht. Aufgrund des völlig neuen Konzeptes müssen weiterhin Wege zur Identifizierung optimaler Strukturen der Elektroden und Katalysatorschicht gefunden werden.
