ersity of Darmstadt. He graduated in September 2021 at the Chair of Technical Chemistry under supervision of Prof. Bastian J.M. Etzold with his master thesis on “Process tolerance analysis of a gasification based waste-to-methanol route”.
In January 2022 Adrian started his PhD research in Darmstadt on the gas diffusion electrode (GDE) half-cell setup to investigate the activity of catalysts for the oxygen reduction reaction (ORR) and also covering fuel cell research. Since January 2024 he continues his research at the newly founded Chair of Power-to-X Technologies at FAU Erlangen-Nürnberg.
