Adali, Fatma Ceyda

Ceyda studied Chemical Engineering at Yıldız Technical University in Istanbul, Türkiye. After completing her bachelor’s degree, she joined a research project at Helmholtz-Zentrum Dresden-Rossendorf, where she worked on replicating nanopatterned semiconductor surfaces. She then pursued a master’s degree in Clean Energy Processes at Friedrich-Alexander University Erlangen-Nürnberg (FAU). For her master’s thesis, she worked in the Power-to-X Technologies department in Erlangen, focusing on mechanical testing methods for oxygen evolution reactions in alkaline electrolysis.Since November 2024, Ceyda has been pursuing her PhD, focusing on degradation mechanisms in alkaline water electrolysis cells.
