Frederik Scheibel, M.Sc

Frederik studied Chemical Engineering – Sustainable Chemical Technologies (CEN) at the Friedrich-Alexander-University Erlangen-Nürnberg (FAU) and completed his Bachelor’s thesis at the National Technical University of Athens in Greece. He continued his education with a Master’s degree in CEN at FAU, which included a semester abroad at the Norwegian University of Science and Technology in Trondheim. His Master’s thesis, titled “Modeling and Comparative Analysis of Ship-Based Carbon Capture and Storage Technologies,” was conducted in collaboration with Freudenberg e-Power Systems in Munich. Since January 2025, Frederik has been pursuing his PhD at the Chair of Power-to-X Technologies at FAU, focusing on the electrochemical reduction of CO₂.
