Leon Kick

Leon studied chemistry at the Technical University of Darmstadt. He completed his studies with a thesis on the topic “Simulation study of the reaction engineering of the heterogenously catalyzed oxydehydrogenation of ethanol” in April 2023 in the group of Bastian Etzold. In September 2023, he started his research in the “3D-PROCESS” project at the newly founded Chair of Power-to-X Technologies. He is using process and CFD simulations to evaluate the applicability of 3D printed equipment for reactions with condensation like for example the methanol synthesis from CO₂.
